To the south, nestling on the Achilitibuie Peninsula, Achnahaird can be seen from the cottages ….on a good day!!! A creamy sweep of sand, looking north-west to the Stoer peninsula and lighthouse and banked by the craggy Coigach Hills to the east. Most of the surrounding area is Inverpolly Nature Reserve which is a haven for wild cats, pine martens and golden eagles. Beautifully remote.
