Heather Cottage
With three bedrooms, Heather Cottage is wonderful for larger groups and visitors with mobility difficulties.

Outside bench seating reached through patio doors in the main living area, and in Heather, through French windows in the downstairs bedroom too.

If you fancy a quick dip, the secluded cove at Altan abradhan is a ten minute walk north and the sandy shores of Vestey’s beach are a 15-20 minute walk south. For anyone intrepid enough to fancy a spot of wild swimming, there are ample opportunities from the rocky fringes of the Estate, a five minute jaunt from your front door.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are most welcome at Cathair Dhubh although must not be left alone in the cottages and given that they can be such mucky pups, we must also ask that they are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs!
