Accessibility statement
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whether you use a screen reader, magnify the page, navigate by keyboard, or simply prefer larger text. The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as far as we have been able to achieve.
What we have done
Every page has a proper heading structure and works on a phone as well as a computer. Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content. Links and buttons can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the contact form no longer needs a visual puzzle to be solved. Photographs are being given written descriptions, starting with the cottages and the galleries.
Known limitations
The handwritten headings and the light body text are part of the site's design and may be harder to read for some visitors; we have made the body text heavier and the booking button darker to help. The availability calendar on the Booking page and the map on the Directions page are provided by other companies and we cannot change how they work. If any of this stops you booking or finding out what you need, please contact us and we will help directly.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something on this site you cannot use, email cathairdhubh@outlook.com or call 07815 056092 and we will put it right or give you the information another way.
